CMD Recruitment is seeking a talented Controls Engineer to join our client's team based in Melksham.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Controls Engineer to join a well established, growing company. You will be responsible for the design and implementation of control systems for a variety of projects.

You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop control systems, including hardware and software
  • Select appropriate control equipment and components
  • Configure and program PLCs and other control devices
  • Develop system documentation, including design specifications and test procedures
  • Conduct system testing and commissioning
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting

Your Skills & Experience:

  • Strong understanding of control system principles and architectures
  • Experience with PLC programming and configuration
  • Knowledge of electrical systems and wiring practices
  • Proficiency in CAD software
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
