CMD Recruitment is pleased to partner with our client in recruiting a Key Account Manager for their new division!
As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving business growth by cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with key consultants and partners. Your primary focus will be on specification sales, but you will also contribute to direct sales and collaborate with agents, distributors, and OEMs.
Your Responsibilities:
- Identify, engage and build relationships with key consultants and operators in the energy-saving sectors.
- Propose and promote energy-efficient fan solutions for industrial & retrofit applications.
- Provide technical guidance and support to clients, including preparing optimal fan and ventilation system solutions.
- Deliver compelling technical sales presentations to consultants and other key stakeholders.
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve order intake, revenue, and margin targets.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, quotations, orders, and market opportunities.
- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and trends to ensure compliance and competitive advantage.
Your Experience:
- Strong technical understanding of ventilation systems.
- Experience in technical sales.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
- Ability to analyse market trends, identify opportunities and develop effective sales strategies.
This role is office based but covering predominantly London & Birmingham areas, so a clean driving license and access to a car is essential (car allowance provided).
