I am currently working on behalf of a large secondary school based in Wiltshire, just outside Trowbridge, that is looking for a subject specialist, whether you are a chemist, biologist or physicist Long Term Teachers need a passionate person to join the Science department of a fast growing secondary school to lead classes across all key stages. The role is full time so is perfect for an ECT who is just starting their journey as a teacher and is looking for an opportunity to develop their skills and fully complete their qualifications. However, is it also a great opportunity for an experienced instructor, who adores teaching and working with children and has at least 1 year experience in the UK educational system.

The role will involve:

  • Planning and marking across all key stages

  • A strong understanding of the English Curriculum

  • Temporary role which would lead to a permanent position

  • Working proactively with other members of the department

The headteacher is looking for a kind, approachable individual, who can show excellent organisational skills, be assertive, and must have a QTS.
