Are you an experienced Housing Officer? Are you seeking a new opportunity with a niche organisation in Melksham? If so, then this could be the opportunity you have been looking for!

Working in partnership with my client, we are seeking an experienced Housing Officer to join their team. You will manage the organisation's housing stock following its policies and procedures, and provide a high-quality housing management service to the organisation's tenants.

Key responsibilities:

  • Undertaking regular neighbourhood and tenancy inspections
  • Providing general advice, guidance, and support to tenants
  • Dealing with complaints and disputes
  • Managing successions, assignments, subletting, mutual exchanges, and transfer of tenancies
  • Posting and reconciling rents
  • Producing reports

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Recognised Housing qualification
  • At least 3 years experience in the management of housing/properties
  • Experience of carrying out a range of surveys to assist with the implementation of planned works
  • Excellent communication skills both spoken and written
  • Ability to use initiative and work without supervision
  • Good organisational and administrative skills

Hours of work will be Monday to Thursday 9am - 5pm and Friday 9am - 4.30pm with hybrid working available.
