The School and Role

This large Secondary school based near Aintree, are looking to appoint a Design & Technology Teacher with a focus on resistant materials to teach KS3 - KS4 levels and work as part of an established team.  The ideal candidate will have an excellent teaching profile with experience teaching Design Technology and/or Art including product design of wood, plastic, fabrics, and metal to GCSE. This is a full-time role, starting in September 2024, and will be ongoing until the end of the academic year. The school was marked as 'Good' following their last Ofsted inspection with positive comments regarding the pupil's behaviour and strong leadership team.

Requirements

The desired DT Teacher will have;

-          Hold QTS in the UK

-          Experience of working with KS3 and KS4 levels

-          Confidence in teaching the current curriculum

-          Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
