The School and Role

This large, welcoming secondary school based in Aintree, Liverpool is looking to appoint a strong Science Teacher to teach KS3 - KS4 levels and work as part of an established team.  This is a full-time role, starting immediately and will be ongoing until at least January 2025 with a view of being extended to July 2025.  The successful candidate must have experience of teaching Chemistry, Biology and Physics up to KS4. This voluntary aided school gained specialist Sports College status in 2000, and is administered by Liverpool City Council and the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Liverpool.  The school was marked as 'Good' in all areas following their latest Ofsted inspection.

Requirements

The desired Science Teacher will have;

-          Hold QTS in the UK

-          Experience of working with KS3 and KS4 levels

-          Confidence in teaching the current curriculum

-          Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
