Description
- Preparation and presentation of monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Completion of all supporting reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant financial regulations.
- Identification of key financial trends and variances to inform decision-making and provide actionable insights to senior management.
- Supporting the external audit process by preparing schedules, responding to auditor queries, and ensuring all documentation meets audit standards.
- Collaboration with departmental managers to create and monitor budgets, providing guidance on financial performance and cost control.
- Development and improvement of financial processes, leveraging the newly implemented accounting system to achieve efficiency gains in monthly reporting and data management.
- Assisting in the preparation of forecasts and financial models to support strategic planning and business growth initiatives.
Profile
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA Fully Qualified
- Proven experience producing management accounts within a financial services organisation
- Demonstrated ability to work with complex financial data and reconcile discrepancies accurately and efficiently.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel functions, such as pivot tables, sumif, and data analysis tools.
- Familiarity with implementing or working with accounting systems and identifying areas for process automation and improvement
Job Offer
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the finance function, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and excellence. You will receive a base salary between £50,000 - £65,000 + Bonus / Ben's.
