Job Title Van Day Driver

Shifts Monday to Friday (no bank holidays or weekends)
Driver Resource Recruitment are looking to recruit a Van Day Driver to cover sickness and holidays for our Client based in Melton Mowbray. Job duties will include:
Starting between 04:00 06:00 (mainly 04:00).
Average of 8 drops a day not necessarily close to each other.
An average of 10 hours per day.
Deliveries to domestic addresses / kerbside deliveries.
Deliveries will cover all regions except Scotland, Costal Wales & places below Essex.
The work will be manual and you require to roll up to 30kg items off the vehicle.
Night outs are not planned but an allowance will be given if this does happen.
You must call the customer at the delivery point 30 minutes before you arrive to advise them of your ETA.
The successful Van Driver must have:
A valid and up to date full UK driving licence.
You must be over the age of 21 for insurance criteria.
A maximum of 3 points no DD / DR / IN convictions.
Drivers will be required to have a good attitude and able to work by themselves or within a team.
Demonstrates excellent communication skills.
Have good customer service skills and an eye for detail.
Able to manage your time and deliveries well (avoiding infringements at all costs).
