Job Title: Bench Hand Joiner
Location: Melton Mowbray, LE14
Shift: 08:30am to 5:30pm Mon to Thu / Fri 08:30am to 1:30pm
Salary: £14 - £18 per hour
Benefits: free and on-site parking, permanent position, pension, 20 days annual leave rising to 25 after completing 2 years at the beginning of the new year, company pension scheme.
The Company:
An established luxury and high-end point of sale manufacturing company are currently looking for Bench Hand Joiners to join their team due to a growth of the business.
The Bench Hand Joiner Role:
The right candidate for the Bench Hand Koiner position will be working in a busy and fast paced environment, working on luxury and high-end point of sale displays. A strong teamwork ethic is essential; however, you will also be required to work independently on your own throughout the day.
Requirements:
- Experience manufacturing shop displays or point of sale joinery
- High end retail manufacturing experience would be beneficial
- Must be able to read and understand technical drawings
- Experience in laminating and finishing
- Experience on metal laminates is desired but not essential
- Experience working with solid surface
- Experience with spindle moulders, edge banders, hand saws, band saws, dim saws and hand routers is essential.
- Experience with operating a CNC Router and/or Paint Spraying would be advantageous
