Pure Permanent Recruitment are seeking an experienced Chef De Partie for a client based in the Melton area of Leicestershire.

This is a full time, permanent position.

This role is only open to UK based applicants only. Ideally we are seeking to recruit someone who resides locally to Melton/Loughborough.

The successful Chef de Partie will be required to work 39 hours per week, 5 days out of 7.

Our client is looking for a Chef De Partie who is able to confidently run a section in the main kitchen serving up to 250 covers per service.

Our client uses fresh produce and most of their food is prepared in house including ice creams, sorbets, breads, stocks and sauces. Youll be working in a professional environment where youll be given the opportunity and support to improve your skills and progress within the Company

Main Duties of Chef de Partie:

  • To produce the highest standard of cuisine for both lunch time and evening service.
  • To produce menu ideas
  • To order appropriate food stuffs keeping in line with the Kitchen budget.
  • To produce and oversee the quality of food served in our Bar Areas
  • To play a key role in training the Junior and Trainee Chefs.
  • To have a knowledge of and deal with any special diets.
  • To liaise closely with the Restaurant staff and to attend menu reading in the Restaurant to ensure all relevant information is passed on.
  • To assist the senior chefs in maintaining the high standards of the kitchen.
  • Be accountable for HACCP and health and safety
