Excellent opportunity for an experienced Area Sales Manager for the Midlands region to join a highly established manufacturer of performance resin flooring systems. They are major players in the marketplace, supplying epoxy and polyurethane resin floor, wall and car park decking systems to a variety of industries.

Your territory will be throughout the Midlands region.

The role responsibilities for the Area Sales Manager will include:-

  • Delivering the set Sales Target within assigned territory / customers.
  • Creating opportunities through networking and relationship building.
  • Understanding customer technical requirements and specifying the optimum solution.
  • Developing account relationships by delivering excellent service.
  • Demonstrating excellent time and territory management skills to balance account management, new business development and administration.
  • Full UK driving licence.

The ideal candidate will hold the following skills and experience:-

  • The ability to ask the right questions at the right time and to the right people, to influence the buying process positively and uncover the customer’s real needs and deliver them.
  • Ability to present information in a professional manner.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and develop relationships at all levels within the company's customer base as well as Architects, Engineers, Facilities Managers, Contracts/Project Managers, Company Owners, and Directors.
  • Objection handling - Ability to think on their feet or apply a range of tactics to overcome customer objections throughout the whole sales process.
  • You are motivated with common business sense, and you want to be successful whilst working towards sales targets.
  • Adaptable to working as a team player & individually.
  • Demonstrative experience as an Area Sales Manager within the construction materials sector, ideally within the resin flooring industry.
