- Lead Generation - Follow up on leads received from other sources. Serve as the key point of contact for identified prospective customers
- Promote and sell all company products to potential customers in addition to identifying cross-selling opportunities
- Sales Planning - Create, agree, and execute a sales plan for your geographic area (Leicestershire & Nottinghamshire)
- Present solutions to customers - Identify and understand prospective customer needs and how our solutions can be tailored to help resolve their problems. Deliver presentations to bring their proposition to life with the goal of securing new business wins
- Collaboration – Work with both customers and colleagues to ensure a smooth onboarding journey that creates a strong foundation for the customer relationship
- Develop –Plan and conduct sales calls and develop relationships in the local market
- Admin - Effectively utilise CRM and sales lead generation tools to maintain an accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline
- Work as part of a team – Help build and be part of a team, working with Account Management, Finance and their local Depot Management team to increase their volume of the right parcel traffic into the depot and provide our customers with a service they can be proud of
- Previous experience of selling Parcel services to E-Commerce Businesses
- Be able to demonstrate an understanding of your customer's needs and requirements, articulating this through effective verbal and written communications
- Use your experience to influence at senior levels via face-to-face presentations, virtual meetings, and telephone calls
- You will have the ability to multi-task and prioritise a number of requirements within set deadlines
- You will have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with both colleagues and customers
- You will have strong analytical and numeracy skills, including the ability to analyse data, draw relevant conclusions, and make recommendations to customers
