Company profile : A leading provider of custom luxury packaging for the retail sector, supplying some of the world’s most recognizable brands. They are currently seeking to hire an National Account Manager to join their successful team.
Title: National Account Manager
Job Purpose:
Achieve sales and profits targets for your area of responsibility.
Retain and grow all existing customers
Secure profitable new business within our chosen market sectors
Role and Responsibilities:
Retention of our existing customers to maximise sales revenue, new product categories and profitability.
Monitor customer’s sales performance in terms of their contribution and profitability.
Drive margin improvement where necessary through strategic sourcing and strong commercial decision making.
Establish and develop relationships with customers at all levels and entertain clients as required
Identify any issues in the client relationship and implement corrective actions through regular business review meetings.
Negotiate long term agreements with our existing customers.
Drive existing customer business plans through to conclusion.
Secure profitable new customers focussing on retailers within the Fashion, Cosmetics, Watches & Jewellery and Luxury sectors.
Work alongside our business development team to implement new customers wins with excellence.
Ensure customers have regular updates and meetings, minimum of monthly.
Work with other departments within the company both locally and internationally on the design and implementation of value added products and services to our customers.
Support UK Commercial team and / or KPA sourcing team to ensure we work with our preferred suppliers.
Support the Finance Team on the collection of outstanding debts within the agreed terms.
Ensure any slow moving stock lines are addressed.
At least once a month, conduct store audits and competitor research by visiting retailers stores in key locations.
Accurate monthly reporting of sales activity and business results through Salesforce.
Participate in business projects as and when required.
Attend training courses as and where necessary to ensure personal and team job skills keep pace with legislative and business developments.
Actively participate in monthly team Sales Meetings, share knowledge and best practice with the wider team.

KPI’s agreed annually and include:
Achievement of portfolio budget, stock/debt target
Major customer annual business plans
Profitable growth customer actions plans
New business & existing customer incremental product wins
Ensuring key processes are followed as set out by the Sales Director / Line Manager

Salary:
£50k - £55k plus commission and bonus (OTE £60k-£70k)
