Sales Manager leading to Sales Director

Our client is a well-established privately owned company well respected as the trusted provider of automation solutions for UK manufacturing, distribution and logistics businesses. Building on their outstanding technical and software credentials they are in the process of introducing a new range of autonomous vehicles and solutions into the UK market. They are searching for an ambitious individual to take the lead in developing the new Company.

Overview of Role:

You will be responsible for helping devise the overall business strategy, leading sales in the UK market and building a team as the new Company grows. Reporting to the business owner you will be able to draw on the technical and operational resources of the parent Company.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in and delivering devising sales plans for the UK
  • Build your team as the company grows
  • Co-ordinate and attend appropriate exhibitions, either locally or within specified regions
  • Provide quality management to all customers especially key accounts, ensuring there is always technical support available, in the first instant from the parent

Desirable Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years of sales experience featuring autonomous vehicles and solutions.
  • Strong communication, presentation and organisational skills
  • An entrepreneurial attitude and most of all an ambition to take overall responsibility for a company.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft products and social media
  • Strong negotiation skills
