Immensely successful Major Loss Unit of leading loss adjusting practice seeks to strengthen its team through the appointment of at least one, and ideally two, major loss surveyors.

  • You will provide technical support and guidance to a strong and well-established team in respect of large and complex buildings losses.
  • 90% of the caseload will be commercial losses, all in excess of £100,000, with an occasional involvement in major domestic or high net worth risks.
  • You will be home-based and will operate throughout either the East or West Midlands, depending upon your current location, but there is a regional office in Birmingham to provide both a base and unrivalled level of both technical and administrative support.

About you:

  • Candidates must essentially be MRICS or MCIOB qualified and ideally have some expertise in insurance claims, although this is not absolutely essential if you have the aptitude to transfer your skills into dealing with insurance claims.
  • You can live anywhere within the West or East Midlands but must be prepared to travel widely throughout the region.

Salary & Benefits:

Basic salary ranges from £60-75,000 depending upon your experience plus generous bonuses, car/allowance, pension, private medical care and 25 days holiday.
