We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machinery to produce precision components, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the production process. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC milling machines and lathes to fabricate components according to specifications.
- Interpret technical drawings and CAD files to set up and programme machines accurately.
- Assemble parts and components, ensuring they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.
- Utilise hand tools and basic maths skills to measure and verify dimensions of finished products.
- Collaborate with team members in the warehouse to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery of products.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment at all times.
Experience
- Proven experience as a CNC Operator or Machine Operator within a manufacturing setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with tooling, fabrication processes, and logic controllers is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and CAD designs effectively.
- Experience with welding techniques is a plus, but not essential.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are crucial for success in this position.
- A background in using hand tools and understanding basic mathematics will be beneficial for daily tasks.
