Are you passionate about energy efficiency and sustainability? Do you hold an OCDEA or a NDEA accreditation and are eager to make a meaningful impact? We are currently recruiting for an Energy and Sustainability Consultant for a small firm based in Leicestershire.

About the Role:

As an Energy Assessor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting a diverse range of clients to achieve their sustainability goals. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working from home combined with the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues and clients on-site when required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct energy assessments and produce SAP calculations for residential developments.
  • Provide expert advice on building regulations, energy efficiency, and sustainable construction practices.
  • Engage with clients to deliver tailored sustainability strategies and solutions.
  • Prepare energy and sustainability reports to ensure compliance with current standards, including Part L and Part O.
  • Collaborate with the design and construction teams to integrate energy-efficient designs.
  • Stay up to date with evolving regulations and best practices within the sustainability sector

Requirements:

  • Ideally you will hold either an OCDEA or NDEA accreditation
  • Strong knowledge of UK building regulations, including Part L and Part O.
  • Experience using IES software for building performance and energy modelling.
  • Experience with SAP calculations and the ability to work with various software tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
