The Company

Based within one of the UK’s leading privately owned food manufacturing groups my client is looking to recruit an experienced hygiene manager to add to their existing management team. They have been established for over 100 years and have an excellent reputation in the marketplace, leading to a very secure environment. Due to continued growth in their market share they are looking to recruit a senior engineer to add to their strong engineering team.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximizing machine efficiencies, together with leading a team of engineers, when on nights or a weekend shift. The ideal candidate will come from a multi skilled engineering background and should be able to work on their own initiative, be a time served engineer with either bias (but multi-skilled) and have fast moving manufacturing experience. If you have worked on automated systems, covering all aspects of health & safety, it would be advantageous. Also, able and willing to work on packaging & labelling machinery, conveyors, pumps, pumps, general mechanical work and other manufacturing machinery. There is a huge amount of training on offer so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
