We are seeking a dedicated Animal Carer to join our vibrant team in Waltham on the Wolds, Melton. In this fulfilling role, you'll be at the forefront of animal care, ensuring that our beloved pets receive the love and attention they deserve.
What We Offer:
- Hourly Rate: £13.49 - £13.52
- Full-time Position: 8am - 6pm, with a flexible working pattern:
- 5 days on, 3 days off- 5 days on, 4 days off- 5 days on, 3 days off- 4 days on, 4 days off- 4 days on, 4 days off- 4 days on, 4 days off- 4 days on, 3 days off- 5 days on, 4 days off
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily care and attention to various animals, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for our furry companions.
- Assist with feeding, grooming, and administering medications as required.
- Engage in play and exercise activities, promoting a healthy lifestyle for the animals.
- Monitor and report any behavioural or health concerns to the management team.
- Collaborate with fellow team members to create a positive and nurturing atmosphere.
What We're Looking For:
- A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their well-being.
- Previous experience in animal care or a related field is a plus but not essential.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanour.
- Ability to work effectively within a team as well as independently.
