The firm are undergoing a period of growth and are looking to expand their workforce to deal with the workload. The salary is negotiable, will of course depend on experience and qualification level and is open within reason. The firm will also consider full-time and part-time applications.
The firm are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper with any experience in payroll useful. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing and filing VAT returns, managing weekly and monthly payrolls for clients of this firm and supporting general bookkeeping tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
VAT Returns:
- Review and file VAT returns accurately and on time.
- Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations.
Payroll Management:
- Process weekly and monthly payroll for clients or employees.
- Handle statutory requirements, including PAYE, National Insurance, and pension contributions.
- Manage payroll queries and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
Bookkeeping Duties:
- Record and maintain financial transactions.
- Reconcile accounts and prepare financial reports as required.
Compliance:
- Ensure all work complies with relevant legislation and company policies.
