They are now seeking a highly creative and skilled Knitwear Designer to join them on a full time, permanent position

Main Responsibilities:

  • Create innovative knitwear designs based on seasonal trends, market demands, and client briefs.
  • Research and analyse fashion trends, yarns, textures, colours, and patterns to inspire new collections.
  • Develop mood boards, sketches, and technical drawings that effectively communicate design concepts.
  • Source appropriate yarns, trims, and embellishments for each design
  • Develop detailed technical specifications for all designs, including knit structure, yarn composition, and sizing.
  • Work with technical teams to ensure garment construction, fit, and finishes meet industry standards and brand expectations.


Person Specifications:
Creative thinker with an eye for detail.
Previous knitwear design experience
Strong understanding of garment construction, knitwear techniques, and yarn properties.
Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and other CAD programs.
Strong knowledge of the fashion market and current knitwear trends.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
