Occupational Health Nurse / Technician

Location: Melton Mowbray and Gloucester

Our clients have an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Health Nurse / Technician to undertake Pre-employment medicals, annual medicals, ongoing health surveillance / screening at the Melton Mowbray and Gloucester sites. This is a part time roll undertaking approximately 55 clinics at the Gloucester site and 30 at the Melton site annually.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join one of most progressive beef processing groups in the UK and Ireland, working days are flexible around the needs of the successful candidate/company.

Working closely with the Human Resource and Safety Management team the successful candidate will ensure accurate and full completion of all necessary health records and service documentation, providing advice and guidance to the management team and employees at the sites.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Registered Occupational Health Nurse / Technician
  • Previous experience in an Occupational Health setting
  • Experience in health surveillance relevant to Occupational Health
  • Proficient I.T. Skills
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Proven ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Accuracy in recording information and attention to detail
  • Good team player who is flexible and reliable in your approach
  • Access to a vehicle and hold a current valid UK driving license

Continual access to a vehicle is key to delivering services at both site – you will receive £0.45 per business mile completed.
