Job Description
Maintenance Engineer
Breakdown and planned preventative maintenance on a variety of automated machinery, to include cranes; conveyors; vertical lifts; monorail system and a deep freeze high bay.
Working in a cold environment
To undertake scheduled repairs in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations and industry standard practices. Prioritise system faults. To ensure quality of output at all times. To accurately record all work undertaken. Involvement in continuous improvement projects. Comply with Health & Safety legislation at all times.
working a rotating shift pattern with a combination of days and nights within a team of Engineers. Working 7 days and 7 nights - in a 28 day period make this an attractive opportunity.

The Person
Resident Maintenance Engineer
An apprentice trained Electrical Engineer or equivalent qualification.
Experience of working with automated machinery is ideal, however it is not essential as training will be provided.
Happy to work at heights.
This is a customer facing role, so you must be able to communicate effectively at all levels.
Experience of working with a CMMS (Maintenance scheduling) system.
