Specialist Product Administrator

Prestigious small and growing family business in the Melton Mowbray area are looking for a Specialist Product Administrator / Coordinator to join them.

The company produce acrylic bespoke labels for the Electrical Engineering sector.

The successful candidate will get involved with many aspects of running a small business from liaising with customers and taking the initial order, producing the label, stocktaking, dispatching and invoicing.

The role requires:

  • Ultimately, a good understanding of the wide range of equipment (patch panels) to be labelled and the different label templates required (training will be given).

  • Setting up detailed layouts for labels using Excel and Corel Draw, or equivalent.

  • Running laser engraving machines to make the labels.

  • Preparing quotes and delivery notes in Sage.

Our ideal candidate is:

  • A logical thinker with a good level of numeracy and attention to detail.

  • A confident multi-tasker, able to thrive in a busy environment.

  • Computer literate, with some experience of Excel/Corel Draw or technical drawing.

  • Responsible attitude with good communication skills.

  • A team player who wants to grow and take on responsibility within a small business.

  • Educated to GCSE level minimum, with at least 6 grade C passes including Math’s and English.

  • Several years’ work experience and the desire to be in a small business environment.

The package:

  • 35 hours a week

  • Starting wage of between £13.30 and £14 per hour

  • Temp to perm basis for the right candidate
