Insite Internal Sales Kerry Menstrie, Stirling

Introduction

As an Insite Internal Sales person you will be an essential member of a small Insite Team, delivering high level Customer Service & Engineering parts sourcing support. Basically an Insite is where we have an embedded team running our customers Engineering Parts Store/Sourcing.

Based at our Insite in MENSTRIE, STIRLING, ideally you will have a background or understanding gained in a manufacturing environment or Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul parts distribution. However, full training will be provided to the right person, so dont let this inhibit you applying!

In essence, if you are a team player with an industrial stores, purchasing and customer service background this could be the role for you!

Role Purpose

  • Support the Insite Manager in sourcing (Stock/Non Stock) items in line with the customers requirements and demands.
  • Administering both the customers and Rubix purchasing systems
  • Supporting consistent delivery of agreed levels of customer service.
  • Delivering unit cost reduction savings against previous suppliers and OEMs.
  • Supporting other team members with enquiries and problems.
  • Facilitate site visits with preferred supply partners to help us identify and assist with value added activities.
  • A proactive approach, looking for opportunities to further expand our product offering for mutual benefit.
  • Support other Insite Team Members with enquiries & resolving issues.
  • Monitoring and expediting material Back Orders & Replenishment of Inventory.
  • Provide general assistance when necessary to the Stores Team, ensuring all Stock is promptly identified, stowed & transacted on the Inventory Management Systems.

Key Skills:

  • Understanding and awareness of engineering products and where they are used. Ideally you should be able to demonstrate a technical awareness and willingness to develop this.
  • Knowledge of the Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) supply chain
  • Experience of industrial manufacturing/distribution environment, preferably within purchasing.
  • Enthusiasm and ability to recognise and develop added value opportunities with both our internal functions and external suppliers.
  • An acute sense of ownership and pride in performance.
  • A team player with apositive attitude, good interpersonal skills.
  • Good Punctuality with an infectious work ethic.
  • The ability to adapt and interact well with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong communication skills verbally (including phone competence) and written.
  • Computer literate Microsoft Office is essential (SAP experience preferable) and capable of operating an integrated computer system.
