About the Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and dedicated Director of Clinical Services to join a leading mental health service provider. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in operational and clinical leadership, ensuring the highest standard of patient care within a multi-disciplinary setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational leadership of nursing and therapy teams.

  • Development and implementation of hospital-wide strategies to ensure outstanding clinical and therapeutic outcomes.

  • Ensuring full compliance with statutory regulations, policies, and professional standards.

  • Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with external health and social care professionals.

  • Overseeing clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives.

  • Managing clinical budgets effectively.

  • Contributing to the overall hospital strategy and service development.

  • Providing leadership, support, and guidance to clinical staff to maintain a high-performance culture.

Essential Criteria:

  • Registered with NMC or HCPC.

  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills.

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a managerial or supervisory clinical role (e.g., Ward Manager or equivalent).

  • In-depth knowledge of statutory regulations.

  • Experience in managing clinical budgets.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, innovate, and drive positive change.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining professional integrity.
