Location: Solihull
Salary: £31,500 to £40,455 + £5,000 Welcome Bonus and Enhancements

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RMN/RNLD) to join our mental health rehabilitation and recovery service for adults. Our facility provides specialized care to individuals with Serious Mental Illness, including those with additional complexities such as physical health conditions, substance misuse, and secondary mental health issues. Patients are accepted from across the UK, with a focus on delivering person-centered and holistic care.

About the Team

Our multidisciplinary team is well-established and includes medical professionals, occupational therapists, psychologists, nurses, healthcare assistants, and ward managers. We emphasize collaboration in decision-making and strive to work with individuals in the least restrictive manner possible, ensuring high standards of care and support.

Job Profile

As a Registered Nurse (RMN/RNLD), you will play a crucial role within the Multi-Disciplinary Team, promoting the best interests of our patients and ensuring the effective implementation of prescribed nursing care. Your responsibilities will include maintaining a safe care environment, exercising professional accountability, and utilizing your skills, knowledge, and expertise in a dynamic and evolving setting, all within the scope of professional practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Multi-Disciplinary Team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Provide high-quality nursing care, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients.
  • Conduct assessments, monitor patient progress, and adjust care plans as necessary.
  • Engage patients in therapeutic activities and support their rehabilitation and recovery.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Promote a positive and supportive environment for both patients and team members.
  • Adhere to NMC guidelines, organizational policies, and statutory regulations, particularly regarding risk assessment.

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Abilities:

  • Qualified Registered Nurse (RMN/RNLD) or nearing completion of your nursing degree/master’s.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of NMC guidelines, requirements, and professional practices.
  • Evidence of post-registration continuing professional development (desirable but not essential).
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude and commitment to change, improvement, and quality.
  • Ability to develop and utilize flexible and innovative approaches to practice.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Salary:

  • Newly Registered Nurse: £31,500 (until preceptorship is completed)
  • Staff Nurse: £34,900 - £37,227
  • Senior Staff Nurse: £37,992 - £40,455

Enhancements:

  • Additional 25% for overtime hours worked Monday – Friday
  • Additional 50% for overtime hours worked Saturday and Sunday
  • Additional 100% for hours worked on a Bank Holiday
