Anderselite are currently recruiting for an Architect to join a consultancy who specialise in Architecture, Urban Design, Infrastructure and transport planning.  Their integrated approach enables them to tackle complex design challenges and develop holistic solutions that bring value to each project.  They are specialists in planning and designing housing led development schemes and are passionate about creating places and spaces that enhance quality of life. This exiting opportunity for an Architect is to be based in their studios near Bridgend and the candidate must have previous experience in working on Residential/ Housing projects and ideally for national house builders/ developers. The successful candidate does not have to be a registered Architect and could be an Architectural Designer subject to having a strong residential background.  You will be responsible for dealing with a scheme from conception to completion as well as having strong Revit and AutoCAD software experience.  You must be familiar with technical requirements of a scheme and also have a keen interest in net zero/ low carbon/ passivhouse projects as this is something that the business is very passionate about.

Architect Position Overview

  • Work on a variety of exciting residential/ housing/ social housing projects
  • Lead and job run projects
  • Liaise with clients / contractors
  • Attend Site Visits
  • Develop project briefs
  • Work from inception to completion
  • Run single large or multiple small projects on a day to day basis and organise, direct and monitor the project team
  • Demonstrate a passion and or desire to excel and to bring that enthusiasm into the office environment
  • Guide and mentor team members

Architect Position Requirements

  • Several years experience (UK based) working on residential & housing developments
  • Good knowledge of the latest legislations and ensuring projects comply with CDM regulations
  • Good understanding of producing associated documents
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and team members
  • Proficiency in using AutoCAD; Revit experience is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and delivering multiple projects simultaneously within strict timelines and budgets
