The role duties include but are not limited to:

Perform stock reconciliations

Investigate discrepancies, and implement corrections

Support the management accountant with sales reporting

Provide assistance to the sales team with queries and requests

Maintain up-to-date customer and supplier profiles, including pricing updates

Manage bi-annual statement requests and reconciliation process to ensure audit readiness
-
Establish and update standard costs as necessary
-
Aid the management accountant with costings
-
Generate monthly budget reports and participate in review meetings with budget holders

Provide coverage for credit control and purchase ledger during annual leave
-
Ensure ledgers are accurate and resolve any discrepancies promptly
-
Handle accruals and prepayments
-
Verify and maintain expense and credit card records/receipts
-
Perform monthly intercompany reconciliations
-
Manage payment runs
-
Assist in audits by providing required documentation and explanations
-
Help with annual fixed asset and stock physical checks
-
Address supplier/customer queries on-site, ensuring smooth, professional, and timely resolutions

Analyse material variances
-
Provide support to the management accountant and financial controller as needed
