If this sounds of interest to you, then you're in luck! Academics are recruiting for an Early years foundation stage (EYFS) Teaching assistant to work with various schools across Merthyr Tydfil. This exciting position is aiming to start after February half term, with opportunities to progress further on a more long term basis.
Expectations of a EYFS Teaching Assistant includes:
- Help the primary teacher to deliver successful lessons.
- Work with small groups of pupils, as well as in a 1 to 1 setting.
- Be empathetic and helpful to all young children within the class.
- Be a person for the young children to rely and depend on.
