Are you passionate about helping disaffected pupils suffering with behavioural or emotional needs?

Are you nurturing, flexible and patient?

Do you have experience with delivering Independent Living Skills?

TeacherActive are currently recruiting Lecturers to support the learning and development of pupils requiring additional support in Colleges. Some of these pupils would be NEET and in danger of being excluded from mainstream education. The College work with a wide-range of pupils with additional learning and emotional/social needs. Experience with challenging behaviour is a must.

The biggest focus will be on delivering core skills in English and Maths at GCSE level.

Skills and Experience:

  1. Understanding and appreciation of working with disengaged pupils and those with SEN/ALN/Challenging Behaviour;
  2. Able to deliver a non-accredited curriculum within the framework;
  3. Positive behaviour strategy knowledge and experience of helping children self-regulate emotions;
  4. Excellent written communication and reporting;
  5. Excellent timekeeping and reliability with an empathetic and understanding nature;
