Job Description:

The Senior People Business Partner will work closely with the Head of HR and senior management to develop and implement an HR strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives. The role requires acting as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing guidance on employee relations, talent management, performance management, training, development, and compensation. This individual will play a key role in optimising organisational effectiveness through HR processes like strategic planning and organisational design, while driving talent management initiatives such as talent assessment, succession planning, and leadership development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement the People strategy that aligns with company objectives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, offering advice on employee relations, talent management, performance management, and compensation.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of HR professionals to ensure effective delivery of HR services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including employees, managers, and external partners.
  • Analyse HR metrics to measure the effectiveness of HR programs and recommend improvements.
  • Drive talent management initiatives, including succession planning and leadership development.
  • Lead and participate in HR projects, ensuring successful delivery within time lines and budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with all HR policies, procedures, and regulations.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; CIPD Level 7 preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a senior team role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices in talent management, compensation, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Proven experience leading and coaching a team of HR professionals.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; able to work collaboratively and influence at all levels.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of management training and development, including delivering management training.
