You will be working for an established manufacturing company in the Merthyr Tydfil area who are dedicated to innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction. The company is seeking a talented and driven Process Engineer to join our team.

Your new role:The Process Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimising manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety. This role requires a deep understanding of engineering principles, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop manufacturing processes for new and existing products.
  • Analyse and optimise production processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Conduct process simulations and feasibility studies.
  • Develop and implement process control strategies to ensure product quality and consistency.
  • Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality teams to resolve process-related issues.
  • Monitor and analyse process performance data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed process documentation, including process flow diagrams, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
  • Provide technical support and training to production staff.

  • 3+ years of experience in process engineering or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of process design, optimisation, and control.
