We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Design and Technology & Engineering Teacher to join our dedicated team in Merthyr Tydfil. Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Design and Technology & Engineering lessons across all key stages, in line with the Curriculum for Wales.
  • Engage students in projects that develop their creativity, teamwork, and understanding of engineering principles and sustainable design practices.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing personalized support to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Actively contribute to the school community by supporting events, clubs, and extracurricular activities focused on design, engineering, and technology.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and well-equipped classroom environment that encourages experimentation and technical skill development.

About You

To thrive in this role, you will need to be a qualified teacher with a strong background in Design, Technology, and Engineering, and an in-depth understanding of the Curriculum for Wales. Requirements
