Are you a qualified Teacher looking for an education employer that willput you first?

Hoop are currently on the lookout for teachers, for a number of Secondary School placements due to commence inSeptember 2024.

Duties will include:

  • Delivering lessons and supporting pupils as they undertake work in line with the National Curriculum priorities
  • Providing suitably challenging learning opportunities for pupils to promote academic progress
  • Assessment of learning taking place and planning for future progress
  • Maintaining good classroom discipline in line with the school behaviour policy
  • Promoting the school ethos and adhering to all school policies and procedures
  • Working closely with all school colleagues and under direction of the school leadership team
The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have experience teaching Welsh at all secondary levels from KS3-KS5
  • Have excellent organisational and planning skills and be able to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Be a passionate practitioner with the desire to improve the education outcomes for all pupils
  • Be able to support and promote the ethos of the school in line with relevant school policies
  • Be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
  • Hold a current, Enhanced Child Workforce DBS certificate (registered with the update service) or be willing to undertake a check
