Academics are looking for an enthusiastic SEN teaching assistant to hire into working with various great schools throughout Merthyr Tydfil area. You would be working with children with additional learning needs, ranging from behavioural issues to supporting pupils with Autism and ADHD.

This position is aiming to start after the February half term, with opportunities for longer term work depending on performances within the schools.

SEN Teaching assistant expectations:

Supporting SEN pupils within classroom environments.
Aid the Primary teacher in controlling the room.
Possible 1 to 1 work with an SEN pupil.
Able to be resilient and empathetic in every situation.
