Head of Supply Chain - Manufacturing

Candour Talent Recruitment is excited to partner with a leading food manufacturing company to recruit a Head of Supply Chain. This pivotal role will oversee all aspects of the supply chain, from procurement and logistics to production planning and inventory management, ensuring operational excellence in a fast-paced environment. Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the supply chain strategy to meet the company's production, financial, and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Oversee procurement, ensuring cost-effective sourcing while maintaining quality and compliance with food safety standards.
  • Manage production planning to optimize capacity and efficiency while meeting customer demand.
  • Lead the logistics and warehousing teams, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of raw materials and finished goods.
  • Analyse and improve supply chain processes to reduce costs, enhance productivity, and minimize waste.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report on key supply chain metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as industry standards.
  • Lead and mentor the supply chain team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in supply chain management, ideally within the food manufacturing or FMCG sectors.
  • Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong understanding of procurement, production planning, logistics, and inventory management.
  • Familiarity with food safety and regulatory compliance in the manufacturing industry.
