Position: Humanities Teacher
Key Stages: KS3 - KS5
Location: Merton
Start Date: Immediately
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Humanities teacher to join our school in Merton.
The successful candidate will be capable of teaching Humanities subjects across Key Stages 3 to 5, delivering engaging lessons that foster a deep understanding and appreciation of the humanities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in Humanities subjects to students from KS3 to KS5.
- Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to ensure academic success.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and enthusiasm.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and resources.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and contribute to the wider school community.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching Humanities subjects at KS3 to KS5 levels.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Humanities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and a collaborative approach to teaching.
