About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Year 4 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Merton. Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver creative and engaging lessons aligned with the KS2 curriculum.
- Monitor and assess students' progress, providing constructive feedback and tailored support where needed.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages academic and personal growth.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers, sharing updates on student achievements and progress.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the wider school community.
- Adhere to safeguarding policies, ensuring the welfare and safety of all pupils.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching at KS2 level.
- A strong understanding of the Year 4 curriculum and ability to deliver it effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
- A patient, caring, and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.
