About the RoleThe Apprenticeship Co-ordinator will support and coordinate the delivery of specified apprenticeship programmes, ensuring alignment with the needs of local employers and preparing learners with the skills they need for the future through exceptional education and training. This role inspires learners to reach their full potential.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting learner interviews, inductions, and enrolments for apprentices in Engineering and Construction programmes, with accurate and timely completion of paperwork.
  • Managing administration and monitoring data for apprenticeships within curriculum areas, ensuring activities are completed efficiently.
  • Maintaining up-to-date records and handling all relevant learner information.
  • Supporting Tutors with timely review coordination.
  • Tracking enrolment, registration, and exam claims.
  • Collaborating with the End Point Assessment Coordinator for necessary activities.
  • Organizing and coordinating Internal Verification processes.

Additionally, the Apprenticeship Co-ordinator will assist in learners' career progression by facilitating access to the Careers Education Information Advice and Guidance service and participating in promotional and recruitment events.

About YouYou should have experience in an administrative role involving regular data reporting and ideally some familiarity with apprenticeship qualifications. A Level 2 qualification in English and Maths (or a willingness to attain one) and a Level 2 Business Administration or equivalent qualification are required.

Department InfoReporting to the Curriculum Manager - Engineering and Construction, you will update on objectives and KPIs, such as learner recruitment, retention, achievement, and progress. Collaboration with Work Based Learning staff and external providers will be essential.
