Job Role: Work Placement Officer
Location: RotherhamContract Type: Part-time - 22.5 hours per weekSalary: £24,249 FTE (Pro-rata £13,044.55 per annum)
The Role:We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised Work Placement Officer to join our clients team in Rotherham In this role, you will play a pivotal part in coordinating and managing work placement opportunities for students and ensuring a seamless and rewarding experience for both employers and participants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain partnerships with local and national employers to secure quality work placement opportunities.
- Match students to suitable placements based on their skills, interests, and career goals.
- Provide guidance and support to students throughout the placement process, including preparing for interviews and workplace integration.
- Monitor and evaluate placement experiences to ensure quality standards and compliance.
- Organise placement-related events, such as employer fairs and workshops.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on placement outcomes and activities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role or in recruitment, career services, or education.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with relevant employment laws and industry standards (preferred).
