The role involves delivering a first-class service to a diverse client portfolio while providing support in accounts and audit functions.
Responsibilities:- Manage and take responsibility for your own portfolio of clients.
- Oversee client bookkeeping and preparation of complex company financial statements.
- Prepare interim management accounts, personal tax returns, partnership accounts, and VAT returns.
- Provide VAT registration and deregistration support.
- Assist with forecasts and business projections (desirable but not essential).
- Attend client meetings and liaise with directors and business owners.
- Train and mentor junior staff, allocating duties as needed.
- Handle company secretarial duties and prepare P11ds (desirable).
- Work to budgets and meet monthly forecasts.
- Provide additional general accountancy and administrative support as required.
- Confident communicator with both written and verbal skills.
- Organised, proactive, and self-motivated.
- ACA/ACCA part-qualified or qualified by experience.
