The Company Overview:We are working with a respected accountancy practice based in Rotherham, known for delivering exceptional financial and advisory services to a wide range of clients. This forward-thinking firm is committed to the professional growth of its team, offering a dynamic and supportive environment. They are now looking for a Part-Qualified Accounts Senior to join their established team.
Your New Role as Accounts Senior (PQ):As a Part-Qualified Accounts Senior, you will work closely with a variety of clients, delivering high-quality accounting services and supporting the preparation of financial statements. This is an excellent opportunity to further develop your technical expertise while progressing your career within a supportive team environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Preparing accounts for a diverse portfolio of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
- Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Supporting tax computations and VAT returns.
- Liaising directly with clients to resolve queries and provide guidance on accounting issues.
- Contributing to the training and development of junior team members.
The Experience & Qualifications Required:The ideal candidate will be part-qualified ACA/ACCA (or equivalent) with experience in accounts preparation gained within a practice environment. Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build effective client relationships are essential.
