Interim Financial Controller South Yorkshire £75,000 - £90,000 12 Month FTC Elevation Recruitment are excited to be working exclusively with a leading Manufacturing business based in South Yorkshire who're looking for recruit an Interim Financial Controller

The successful Financial Controller will lead the financial operations of the business, providing strategic insights and technical expertise to drive performance, ensure compliance, and support decision-making. The Financial Controller will be responsible for managing the finance team, enhancing financial systems and controls, and providing accurate and timely financial reporting to stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and mentor a team of 6, ensuring top-tier performance and professional development.
  • Production of year-end statutory account
  • Liaise with SLT to ensure information required for statutory submissions is obtained & accurate
  • Leading the annual audit, and liaising with the external auditors
  • Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Manage financial planning, forecasting, and analysis to support decision-making.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team to ensure effective performance.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on financial strategy and business planning.
  • Identify opportunities for financial efficiency and process improvement.

Key Skills:

  • Fully Qualified -  ACA, ACCA, CIMA, .
  • Significant experience in senior financial management roles.
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting.
  • Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with financial software and systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under pressure.
