Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working on a retained basis with Grupo Bimbo as they look to bring a new Management Accountant into the team.Grupo Bimbo, a global leader with operations in over 33 countries,  are at the latter stages of launching a state-of-the-art factory in Rotherham dedicated to producing Takis; the new and hugely popular spicy rolled corn tortilla snack to hit our shelves!This new facility represents a significant investment in the UK market and will create over 100 jobs across various roles. The latest role to come to market is a Management Accountant which will reports straight to the Head of Finance. 

The role will certainly have scope to grow and will have opportunity to add value in the form of business partnering with operations and senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities will include: -

• To analyse and post cycle count variances and to facilitate the weekly stock count review meeting• To update and distribute weekly material usage tracker• To prepare and complete of product costings, liaising with associates across all departments• To complete the Bill of Materials and Standard Cost set ups in Oracle• To complete the monthly Management Accounts and KPI reporting• To prepare and post regular monthly journals in Oracle accounting system• To provide analysis on overhead expenditure and updating the cost centre detailed spend tracker• To update and control business templates with new standard costs: Trial form, Write Off form, Sample Request form and costing template• To liaise with site budget holders to investigate supplier invoices on hold and support in resolving any issues• To maintain the master data records on site scorecard and the daily production reports• To oversee the site, write off process, ensuring all items are in blocked status and approvals are obtained in line with UK approval matrix• To support the warehouse and technical teams in the clearance of blocked stock for damaged or out of spec Raw Materials• To support the Site Finance Manager with the annual budget and quarterly forecast processes• To assist the UK Operational Finance team with the writing of SOPs• To carry out other appropriate tasks as may be required by the Finance Department

To be successful you will ideally have the following skills and experiences: - 

  • Qualified/ Part Qualified/ Qualified by Experience
  • Manufacturing sector experience
  • Good reporting and analytical skills
  • Business partnering experience
