Accounts Assistant – Rotherham – up to £28,000Chase & Holland are working alongside a market leading manufacturing business in Rotherham, who are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their Finance team during a period of change and implementation. This is an exciting opportunity to join a very successful business.In return you will receive:

Accounts Assistant responsibilities include:
  • Processing supplier purchase invoices, matching to PO and delivery notes, price checking and resolving any queries
  • Raising supplier, VAT, Corporation Tax, PAYE/NI, FX, Intercompany recharges and Cashbook payments
  • Issuing of Petty Cash and BACS transfers for authorised expenses
  • Allocating all payments to the cashbook and the ledgers
  • Raising customer invoices and statements
  • Checking all corresponding paperwork and resolving any queries
  • Processing full 'end to end' weekly payroll for 75+ employees
  • RTI and Pension submissions, raising bank transfer for the weekly payroll
  • Payroll Analysis, PAYE/NI reconciliation, Pension reconciliation
  • Preparing contracts and all legal documents for new starters and existing employees
Experience:
  • Experience of working in a similar role with knowledge of payroll and purchase ledger
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Highly computer literate
  • Strong organisational skills
