Business Support Officer

We are seeking a Business Support Officer to provide essential support across our adult social care service. The role involves supporting our teams to deliver effective business support services to front line and statutory services, in line with relevant government legislation and guidelines.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Attend safeguarding meetings and take accurate minutes, both in person and virtually via Microsoft Teams.
  • Upload and distribute approved minutes in a timely manner.
  • Arrange venues and coordinate attendees for meetings.
  • Manage invitations and communications for meetings through Teams as required.
  • Oversee the safeguarding coordination inbox, prioritising and writing up minutes efficiently.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams and minute-taking.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • Personal resilience to deal with emotionally charged information related to vulnerable adults.
