Elevation Recruitment Group are partnered with a leading organisation in their search for a Process Safety Engineer. The business serve a wide range of industries, including healthcare, manufacturing, food processing, and energy and are known for its innovation in safety standards, and commitment to sustainability, helping businesses improve efficiency and reduce environmental impact.Â
As Process Safety Engineer, you will provide specialist support across CES, Applications/New Developments & on-site operations. You will play a crucial role in ensuring process safety compliance and best practices across all sites in the UK & Ireland.Â
Duties & Responsibilities:Â- Provide process safety expertise across multiple business units.
- Support process safety initiatives across all plants.
- Advise on process safety matters, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
- Conduct hazard identification, risk assessments, and functional safety assessments.
- Oversee management of change processes and safety-critical elements.
- Lead incident reporting, investigations, and process safety improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with key regulations, including COMAH and DSEAR.
- A degree in Chemical or Process Engineering (or equivalent)
- Extensive practical industrial experience in a process industry, ideally operating under COMAH regulations
- Experience in submitting COMAH reports
- Chartered membership of IChemE (or actively working towards it)
