Marketing Manager (3-Month Temp, £350/day)

Location: Rotherham (with travel to other sites) Salary: £350 per day (inclusive)Contract: Temporary (3 months)Hours: Full-time (37 hours per week)

About the Role: We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Marketing Manager to lead and manage our marketing team on a temporary basis. This is a crucial role, requiring an individual with a proven track record in managing marketing teams and large budgets, ideally within the education sector (although this is not essential).

You will be responsible for supporting the delivery of a comprehensive marketing strategy, managing high-performing marketing teams, and overseeing large-scale marketing campaigns to boost brand visibility and increase student recruitment across a range of learner groups, including 16-18-year-olds, degree-level students, adult learners, and apprentices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a small marketing team to ensure the delivery of effective marketing campaigns.
  • Oversee and manage large marketing budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Coordinate and plan recruitment campaigns throughout the year, targeting both internal and external audiences.
  • Develop marketing materials for both online and offline platforms.
  • Work closely with the Director of Marketing to implement marketing strategies and action plans.
  • Ensure the marketing team delivers exceptional customer service to all internal and external stakeholders.

Ideal Candidate: To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Significant experience managing small marketing teams and handling large budgets.
  • Experience in planning and delivering successful marketing campaigns.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate your team.
  • Excellent planning, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Industry-relevant qualifications, such as a Certificate or Diploma in Marketing.
  • Level 2 (or equivalent) qualifications in English and Maths, or a willingness to undertake them.
