Are you able to play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of effluent plants, pumping stations, cooling systems, and towers?

The Role:

  • Ensure adherence to Legionella Control regulations for cooling towers and domestic water systems, in close coordination with management Duty Holders
  • Serve as the primary liaison for water treatment and Legionella-related contractors, overseeing the cleaning and upkeep of cooling towers/systems
  • Collaborate within the Works Services team to coordinate and manage engineering resources, ensuring the availability of critical site services such as cooling water, steam, compressed air, and gases
  • Develop comprehensive schedules for planned maintenance, inspections, and training to align with statutory, quality, and engineering requirements
  • Guarantee that all engineering operations, including those conducted by specialized contractors and plant operators, meet health, safety, and environmental legislative standards
  • Contribute to the long-term strategic planning for plant upgrades and enhancements as an integral member of the Works Services team

The Person:

  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, particularly in water treatment and Legionella control
  • Relevant qualifications in an engineering maintenance disciplines
